Hon. Martha D. Anderson

Martha D. Anderson is a judge serving the 6th Circuit Court in Oakland County, Michigan. She was first elected to the court on November 5, 2002, and began her judicial service in January 2003. Anderson has been re-elected twice, in 2008 and again in 2014, the latter election being unopposed. Prior to her judicial career, she practiced law for 25 years, including 23 years as a friend of the court referee in Oakland County. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University in 1973 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1977.
