Hon. Kali Morgan

Judge Kali Morgan is a native Houstonian who has presided over the 505th Family District Court since January 1, 2021. Prior to her judicial appointment, she worked as a Regional Attorney for the Department of Family and Protective Services and as an Assistant Disciplinary Counsel for the State Bar of Texas. She is committed to ensuring justice is blind to social, racial, and political differences. She was appointed Chair of the State Bar of Texas Judicial Section’s Family Law Legislative Subcommittee in January 2023.
