After high school, John moved to Charleston, South Carolina where he attended The Citadel: The Military College of South Carolina. In 2014, John graduated summa cum laude from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in U. S. History. John then moved to Washington, D. C., where he served as a legislative staffer for United States Senator Tim Scott. In 2016, drawn by the history of the school and the region, John moved to Williamsburg, Virginia to attend our countrys oldest law school, William and Mary Law School—started by then-Virginia Governor Thomas Jefferson in 1779. Following graduation, and after nearly ten years living outside of the state, John returned to Ohio and joined the historic firm of Young & Alexander.
