I was born in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1956 in an Army hospital where my father served during the occupation of Germany. After graduating from The University of Akron in 1979 with a degree in Medical Technology, I attended The University of Akrons School of Law, where I received my Juris Doctorate with honors in 1993.
