Cameron Jackson

Cameron E. Jackson – Attorney Cameron E. Jackson is the founding attorney of The Jackson Law Group. Cameron decided to start The Jackson Law Group after witnessing firsthand the all-too-common practice of law firms focusing more on billing clients and generating revenue rather than on the clients’ legal needs. After concluding the legal industry was capable of far better than the status quo, Cameron resigned his position at a premier Atlanta civil defense litigation firm and The Jackson Law Group opened its doors. Prior to starting The Jackson Law Group, Cameron practiced as an attorney at two of Atlanta’s prominent civil defense litigation firms. While there he focused on civil litigation, business and agricultural law, property tax assessment appeals, and insurance defense. Through this experience Cameron not only gained an intimate understanding of the civil litigation process, but also a deep understanding of how insurance companies and businesses handle legal claims brought against them. Cameron uses this knowledge every day to maximize the value of his clients’ cases when they have been wronged as well as to minimize his client’s liability when they have been accused of wrongdoing. While in law school Cameron clerked for Chief Judge of the Georgia Court of Appeal, Judge Christopher J. MacFadden, as well as for a prominent property law litigation attorney. Cameron also spent a year interning for the Georgia Capital Defenders Office, where he assisted in appealing and obtaining reduced sentencing for individuals who had been sentenced to death for their crimes. When he is not practicing law Cameron enjoys spending time with his fiancé and dogs, volunteering, hiking, kayaking, gardening, running and is an avid disc golf player.
