Keith is a founding partner of Brown Altman & Dileo, LLP, where he represents a wide range of corporations in real estate matters, from complicated commercial disputes to issues related to zoning and land use regulations. He counsels on real estate development, liability avoidance and litigation, as well as compliance with federal and state environmental laws. Among Keiths clients are many Fortune 500 companies, including national retailers, commercial developers, residential developers, national petroleum distributors, national and local community banks, gasoline station retailers, automotive dealerships, pharmacies and other local businesses throughout the New York metropolitan area, including all townships and many villages throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS Represented the largest owner of industrial warehouse space on the East Coast for the redevelopment of the former Newsday facility. Obtained zoning approvals for a 4 megawatt Fuel Cell facility in Medford, NY. Helped pass the first Battery Storage Ordinance in Southampton Town and obtained zoning approval for the first Battery Storage project in the Town. Rezoned 30-acre light industrial parcel for a 250,000 square foot shopping center, known as the Mount Sinai Village Centre, in Mount Sinai, New York. Represented international solar developer in multi- million dollar federal and state litigation and in the negotiation of the purchase agreement and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a 60 acre solar energy facility in Middle Island, New York. Closed two $30 million lines of credit with multiple lenders for residential mortgage company. Represented the Seller of the Underhill Estate to a major developer in Oyster Bay. Works with property owners, property managers and wireless telecommunications providers to zone, develop and lease properties for wireless telecommunications services throughout Long Island and New York City. Represent international telecommunications companies in federal and state litigation. Advises many Fortune 500 companies in all aspects of programmatic development, including leasing, zoning and litigation. Obtained approvals for changes of zone, special permits and variance relief for regional petroleum retailers throughout all Long Island towns, cities and villages.
