Katherine L. Killingsworth

ABOUT Katherine has always been independent and hardworking. She got her first job at age thirteen and understands the value of hard work and dedication. As an attorney, Katherine is diligent in learning about her clients businesses so that she can serve as a valuable advocate for them. She has worked with outdoor advertising clients since she was a law clerk and has a thorough understanding of the legal issues affecting the industry. Katherine has extensive experience in condemnation matters and in representing businesses in both litigation and transactional issues. Katherine also has more than ten years of experience in her Insurance Defense practice. She also has a focus on representing nonsubscribers-employers who have elected to opt out of the Texas Workers Compensation system. Katherine is upfront and honest about the potential ups and downs of each case. She helps clients evaluate cases and make decisions about whether to attempt settlement or go forward to trial or arbitration. Katherine is an alumnus of Chi Omega, the largest womens fraternal organization in the world. She enjoys gardening and often plans travel around which flowers will be in bloom. She has seen cherry blossoms in bloom in Japan and the world-famous spring bulb displays in Keukenhof, Holland. Katherine spends most of her free time with her husband and their three young sons. In high school, Katherine L. Killingsworth was a star of her debate team, winning the Silver Gavel award at her state competition.
