Jessica Devaney

After passing the bar exam in 2015, Jessica Devaney was offered a position at the Comal County District Attorney’s Office as the Child Protective Services Prosecutor. She continued in that position from November of 2015 until December of 2020. During her time at the DA’s Office, Jessica Devaney handled hundreds of child protective services cases from the investigation stage through case disposition as the lead attorney representing Child Protective Services (CPS). In January of 2021, Jessica Devaney opened the Law Office of Jessica Devaney where she continues her work in the child welfare system and expanded into other practice areas. Now, she uses her knowledge of the law and CPS system as well as her litigation skills to represent parents, children, grandparents, relatives, and foster families as they navigate the CPS system and other family law issues.
