Michael Warner

Michael W. Warner, Associate E-mail: [email protected] Michael W. Warner has joined the law firm of Hecht Walker, P. C. as an Associate Attorney focusing on real estate and corporate litigation, tort and employment litigation, local government work and general civil litigation. Michael has several years of experience performing civil litigation and transactional work. Previously, Michael worked as a litigation associate at an Atlanta-based law firm where he represented a national insurance provider concerning a wide-array of defense matters. In addition, Michael represented a local government entity and prosecuted city code violations on behalf of the county. Michael has participated in numerous arbitrations, bench trials and mediations also. More recently, Michael worked for another Atlanta-based law firm where he performed business entity formations, complex business negotiations, contract drafting, and business transactions. Michael represented many well-known Atlanta businesses and provided a full-spectrum of legal services ranging from advising upon entity choice and formation to facilitating asset/stock sales and the winding up of the business entity. Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts from Furman University where he participated in Division I cross-country and track. Michael received his Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law. While attending law school, Michael excelled in several moot court competitions, earning the runner-up title in the Client Counselling Competition. Michael also was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in his legal writing course.
