Zachary G. Phipps

Overview Zachary G. Phipps has been admitted to the Florida Bar for over fifteen years. Previously, Mr. Phipps worked as a criminal defense attorney for the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 5th D. C. A., where in 2019, he received agencys Public Service Award. Mr. Phipps received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and his Juris Doctorate from the Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law at Barry University. Prior to joining OConnor, Haftel & Angell, Mr. Phipps worked for the State of Florida where he conducted over 20 trials in civil and criminal matters, including capital felonies. He then worked for OConnor & Stolinas, PLLC, where he gained valuable litigation experience in construction law, premises liability and insurance defense. In his free time, Mr. Phipps enjoys spending time with his family and adventuring outdoors.
