Blake Matthys

Experience on your side Before he came to The Carlson Law Firm, Blake worked at The Law Office of Larry A. Matthys, P. C. in San Antonio, where he practiced Subrogation, Insurance Defense, Contractual Litigation, and more. Blake feels that his experience, particularly in Insurance Defense, gives him an advantage over other attorneys because he knows how the defense thinks and works in personal injury cases. Blake has practiced in District, County, Probate, and Justice of the Peace Courts all around the state of Texas. In addition, Blake was admitted to the Texas State Bar in November of 2017. With experience from Amarillo to Brownsville and Texarkana to El Paso, Blake is ready for any and all civil matters. According to Blake, his favorite part of his job is representing actual people and helping them when they have been wronged. Blake says he feels most proud of his work when clients thank him for helping them. In fact, a genuine expression of gratitude was the factor that helped Blake solidify his passion for helping people and choose to work at The Carlson Law Firm. Currently, Blake lives in Georgetown, where he says he wants to stay for a very long time. In his free time, Blake likes to golf and play with his dog, Spike.
