Rebecca Ehrenberg Associate Attorney Metro Detroit Divorce Attorney Email: [email protected] Rebecca Ehrenberg was born in Orlando, Florida to a father and mother both serving in the United States Navy, as a dental technician and the nursing corps respectively. At two years old she was moved to Michigan and grew up Downriver, where most of her family remains. Living and growing up Downriver allowed Rebecca the unique opportunity to see and learn from a diverse group of people, some that had access to legal representation and some that did not. Rebecca sought to bridge that gap through her dream of becoming a lawyer. At twelve years old, Rebecca decided she would grow up to be an attorney and never lost sight of that goal. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in 2004, majoring in Political Science and then went to law school at Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she earned a Juris Doctor in 2007. Rebeccas mother is from New England and this was an amazing opportunity to spend some time in the part of the country she considers her second home, gaining a broader perspective of the Country. Rebecca graduated law school with honors and came back to Michigan to take the bar exam. After being admitted to practice law in November 2007, Rebecca discovered family law and the opportunity to make a difference by helping people through some of the toughest times of their life. She has been practicing family law almost exclusively since 2008 and has appeared in circuit courts all over the State of Michigan, with a focus on the metro Detroit area, which will always be home. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys being with her friends and family, a good book, or tv show, and raising her two cats, while keeping her guitar and crochet projects away from their curious claws.
