James L. Powers

Jim Powers held the role of chief executive officer from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2021. He previously provided audit services to publicly and privately owned businesses in a variety of industries. In addition, he has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions and private and public securities offerings, as well as in the areas of strategic planning and business process reengineering. Jim is a seasoned resource for sales and marketing teams on strategies for cross-border activities related to Crowe Global member firms. He currently serves as the co-chairman of the board of directors and previously served as the Crowe Global liaison partner. Jim is actively involved in community service organizations, including serving as a board member, finance committee chair, and past board chair of the Indianapolis Zoological Society; elected member and director of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame; and board member and past treasurer of the Crooked Stick Golf Club.
