Jade M. Pebworth

Jade M. Pebworth Associate Attorney Jade grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sustainability and a minor in Entrepreneurship. The summer before her senior year of college Jade accepted a position as a court runner for a local civil law firm. By the end of the summer, she had been promoted to litigation legal assistant and managed all of the firms litigation cases. She quickly learned she loved the pace and atmosphere of working in a law firm. After working for the firm for about a year and a half she decided she was going to law school! Jade was accepted to Oklahoma City University School of Law and began in their Summer Start program. She enrolled in the full-time evening program to allow herself time to work during the day. While in law school she continued to work at the law firm and attended two civil trials, one of which yielded a $68.5 million dollar verdict in favor of their client. While in school and working she also volunteered at the Oklahoma County District Attorneys office one day per week until earning her limited license in February 2019. She was then able to work for the DAs office civil division one day per week to continue to gain additional experience. Jade also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Balkman and aided in legal research and drafting related to his dockets, most notably, the Opioid trial. In her final year of law school, she worked as a legal intern with The Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission and worked with oil and gas regulators across the nation..
