About
Jessica Prince Biography Jessica J. Prince joined Wicker Smiths Fort Lauderdale office as a law clerk in August of 2011, shortly before being admitted into the Florida Bar. In 2012, she moved to the Jacksonville office where she handled civil litigation matters to include medical malpractice, automotive claims, premises liability and construction litigation. In 2015, Ms. Prince relocated to Pensacola, Florida, where she practiced family law, handling numerous dissolution of marriage, adoption and child custody trials. She rejoined Wicker Smith to help open its Pensacola office in 2016. In Pensacola, Jessica Prince manages all levels of first party insurance litigation including policies involving water, wind, fire and hurricane damages as well as other property damage claims. Ms. Prince graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Throughout all 4 years, she was a member of the Presidents Honor Roll. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2011. While in law school, she earned several Book Awards for Appellate Policy, Ervin Chair Seminar, Professional Responsibility and Property Law. She was also on the Deans list and was a recipient of the American Association for Justice Scholarship. In addition to her scholastic achievements, Ms. Prince gained valuable legal experience clerking for a local firm dedicated to family law and for the First District Court of Appeal. Before law school, she had also worked as a legal secretary for an international law firm and as a paralegal for a well respected Colorado personal injury law firm. Among Ms. Princes many accomplishments, she was named Miss Colorado 2005, representing the Miss America Organization in 2006. A year later, she was named the Colorado Springs Young Entrepreneur of the Year for her achievements in starting, owning and operating 3 Colorado coffee shops called, Jazzed on Java.
