Matthew Charles Care

Experience Matthew T. Charles joined the firm in early 2008 and, in recognition of his untiring service, the firms name was changed to Concannon & Charles in 2016. Mr. Charles is the principal attorney in the firms Ocean City, New Jersey office. Mr. Charles focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, primarily in the areas of product liability, sports and recreation law, intellectual property and trade secret litigation. Mr. Charles also includes corporate law, employment, real estate and criminal defense. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Charles had his own practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, focusing primarily in civil litigation, criminal defense, estate administration, business formation, tax and real estate. He worked for the Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Clinic for Chester County, Pennsylvania, where he provided representation of indigent clients in criminal cases. Mr. Charles is a certified scuba diver, a sports fan, musician and photographer. He and his wife Kelly live in Ocean City, New Jersey, where they raise their rambunctious twin sons and dog Harlan.
