R. Matthew Weisman

OverviewMatt is a third-generation Weisman personal injury attorney. Matt grew up admiring his father and grandfather who enthusiastically represented their clients (the "little guy") against the big shot insurance companies. Matt is eager to carry on the Weisman tradition and fight for his clients.Matt continued his education and football career at Ohio Wesleyan University. There, Matt was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and earned four varsity letters in football. Matt graduated in 2009 and was honored as a National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete.After graduating from college, Matt earned his commission as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Matt served proudly on active duty for four years as an Amphibious Assault Vehicle Officer.Honorably discharged in 2015, Matt returned to Cleveland to pursue a legal education. Matt earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2019.In his free time, Matt participates in many recreational leagues including, softball, touch football, platform tennis, and squash. In the summer, Matt loves to visit Chautauqua, NY where he and his family waterski and spend quality time together.Matt devotes 100% of his practice to personal injury litigation.
