Nicholson, Attorney at Law, Owner A Mountain View native and a 2018 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Law, she is our resident expert in all things legal. Deedra holds degrees not only in law but also in English, Classic Studies, and History. Deedra has experience in a wide variety of legal matters and, in addition to her private practice, is the Attorney and Prosecutor for the City of Mountain View. Kayla D. Roberts: Paralegal Kayla handles Real Estate transactions and Real Estate Law matters including closings, issuing title insurance policies, and title searches. Kayla is also a Title, Escrow, & Closing Agent. Ashley D. Otwell: Paralegal Ashley handles everything relating to probate and helps make a normally difficult time for our clients as smooth as possible. Ashley also assists with Business Law and Real Estate. Ashley is the go-to paralegal for dissolution of marriage cases. Elena M. Kaut: Paralegal Elena works on Guardianships, Adoptions, Bookkeeping, and assists with other matters. Abbi Orchard: Receptionist Abbi coordinates scheduling, manages phone calls, filing, and other tasks around the office. Nancy S. Heavrin: Paralegal Nancy has been with the firm for more than 30 years. While she is presently working part-time, Nancy has the experience to help with a variety of matters in the office. Charles C. Cantrell, Of Counsel Now retired from full-time practice, Charles continues as a consultant at the office. The Honorable Judge: Law Cat Judges claim to fame includes a rather unforgettable incident at our old office, where he was discovered with his head stuck in the wall. Fortunately, our resident superhero, Elena, came to the rescue and saved the day—an act of heroism that has since earned her the title of Judges mom. When hes not exploring the nooks and crannies of our office, Judge can often be found indulging in his favorite pastimes. He has a particular fondness for drinking water straight from the fishbowl, enjoys watching the antics of squirrels, and has a soft spot for kids. His favorite time of day is making his mom chase him around the office before he gets in his crate to go home. Born without a tail, Judge has always embraced his individuality and quirky personality, proving that even without a tail, you can still be the boss.
