About
Benjamin A. Jacobs During law school, Mr. Jacobs gained practical experience working as an extern for Law Access New Mexico and the Honorable Jennifer Attrep of New Mexicos First Judicial District Court. As part of his clinical law experience, Mr. Jacobs represented clients in New Mexicos Second Judicial District Court and in Childrens Court. In addition, he worked as a Volunteer Law Student for the District of New Mexico United States Attorneys Office, and confirmed his interests in Bankruptcy by working as a Law Clerk at The Askew Law Firm, LLC. Mr. Jacobs learned from Professor Nathalie Martin, working as a Research Assistant and helping to update the Glannon Guide to Bankruptcy, Fourth Edition. He was honored to serve on a team of professors and law students that assisted Professor James Ellis in writing an Amici Curiae brief that was cited in the majority opinion of Moore v. Texas, a United States Supreme Court decision. Prior to law school, Mr. Jacobs taught Social Studies, Reading and Language Arts, and Special Education in New Mexicos public schools at the middle school and high school levels.
