Matthew B. Malamud

Matt focuses his practice on complex first-party insurance coverage disputes, bad faith allegations and investigations of suspected insurance fraud. He counsels insurers in complex coverage disputes and policy interpretations related primarily to homeowners and commercial business policies. Matt has authored and spoken on coverage issues pertaining to bad faith, anti-concurrent causation clauses and condominium policy issues, including the Uniform Condominium Act. He has also presented on issues involving claims presented by mortgagees and loss payees. Prior to beginning his legal career, Matt served as a judicial law clerk where he prepared trial court opinions, decisions, orders and drafted memoranda regarding trial motions. He also served as a certified legal intern for The Children’s Advocacy Clinic in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
