Matthew Muckleroy

Matthew S. Muckleroy grew up in the suburbs near Houston, Texas, and he graduated from The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University, where he obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance in May 2003. After graduation, Matt worked for Devon Energy Corp. in Oklahoma City, OK as a Regulatory Accountant. In that capacity, Mr. Muckleroy prepared and reported tax returns for Devons Texas oil and gas wells, in particular those located in and around the Barnett Shale region. Matt relocated to Dallas, Texas, thereafter, accepting a position with Bank of America Corp. in its Global Corporate Investment Bank (GCIB) division. Working in the Portfolio Management group, Matt performed credit underwriting on multi-million dollar revolving and syndicated loans given on behalf of Bank of America to other financial institutions and government entities. He also monitored corporate loan portfolios for over seventy (70) different counterparties, while participating in high-level negotiations with internal and external counsel. Mr. Muckleroy also participated in a rigorous month-long training program in New York, NY, geared towards preparing the Banks analysts on many different aspects of Investment Banking. During his time with the bank, Matt performed various financial statement analyses, completed pitch books and profitability models, and projected cash flows in connection with Bank of America-led syndicated credit transactions.
