Alex Barlow

Mr. Barlow was the lead lawyer in achieving settlements totaling over $80 million in the transvaginal mesh litigation. In past pharmaceutical litigation, he represented and achieved a confidential settlement on behalf of over 700 male children who developed gynecomastia as a result of taking Janssen Pharmaceuticals antipsychotic drug, Risperdal. He also achieved a judgment against Glaxo Smith Kline over the mis-marketing and side effects of its blockbuster diabetes drug Avandia. In Mr. Barlows most interesting and challenging pro bono case, he facilitated the return parental visitation rights to the mother of two children after her ex-husband, residing with the children in Malaysia, cut off her access for five years in contravention of U. S. court orders. Mr. Barlow has an AV-Preeminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Currently, he is a Fellowship Member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, a member of the American Association for Justice, and a member of Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. He is a past member of the Board of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. In law school, Mr. Barlow was the recipient of the George E. Seay Endowed Presidential Scholarship and was a member of the Order of the Coif, a national honorary society for law school students.
