She has successfully negotiated and argued many insurance coverage matters in and out of state and federal courts in Oregon, where she is admitted. She attended Boston University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2003. Prior to that, she earned a B. A. from the University of Oregon, where she majored in political science and minored in business. Emilys husband of over 15 years is an award-winning brewer, and her two school-aged boys keep her busy with sports, school, and travels to Mt. Hood and the Oregon Coast.
