J. D. Schmidt

JD graduated from Western New Mexico University with Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice in 1997. During that time and for years after he was a police officer from 1995 - 2007. From 2001 through 2010 JD was in the U. S. Navy Reserves. In 2007 he attended law school at Texas Tech University and graduated in 2010. While in law school JD clerked for a prominent defense attorney in Lubbock, and was part of the innocence project. Following law school until being hired at Dunham & Jones he had a solo practice in Amarillo, Texas concentrating mostly on Family Law.
