Michael Slater

Michael W. Slater has spent his entire career defending the interests of insurance companies and their insureds. Currently, Mr. Slater focuses much of his legal practice on scrutinizing fraudulent or suspicious claims, particularly those linked to motor vehicle accidents. With over 30 cases brought to trial and numerous dismissals secured prior to trial, he has demonstrated his proficiency in this field. Mr. Slater is a frequent speaker on topics concerning fraudulent claims, offering valuable strategies to insurance professionals for investigating and defending against such baseless assertions. Having been admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in Michigan, Mr. Slater is an active member of both the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Bar Association.
