About
Ibrahim Awad decided to become an attorney long before law school. As a high schooler, Mr. Awad was the cornerstone of his schools mock trial team; leading them to their first Regional Championship in over a decade. After graduating near the top of his class, he attended Dalton State College and began working at the District Attorneys Office in Whitfield County. As an undergraduate, Mr. Awad assisted in the prosecution of over 100 felony cases, including more than a dozen child molestation jury trials, and a murder trial. After earning his Associates Degree in English from Dalton State College, Mr. Awad transferred to Kennesaw State University to continue his education and receive a Bachelors Degree in English; he graduated Summa Cum Laude. After Kennesaw State, he attended Georgia State College of Law, where he furthered his real-life legal experience by interning at the Dekalb County Solicitor Generals Office. While there, Mr. Awad worked with the Special Victims Unit as well as other Trial Attorneys. He was also a member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association, where he competed in legal competitions in Buffalo, New York and Memphis, Tennessee. During his third year of law school, Mr. Awad interned at a private criminal defense firm and began defending clients with cases ranging from minor violations to serious infractions.
