Linda Marie Cavazos

Linda Cavazos Castillo was born and raised in Mercedes, Texas. She graduated from Smith College in 2000. She then earned her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2004 and obtained her Texas law license that same year. Ms. Cavazos Castillo was formerly an Assistant District Attorney with the Hidalgo County District Attorneys Office for ten years. As a felony prosecutor she gained extensive trial experience in major offenses such as aggravated sexual assaults, aggravated sexual assaults against children, aggravated robberies, intoxication manslaughter, murders and capital murders. Ms. Cavazos Castillo joined Gonzalez Castillo, LLP in 2018 defending personal injury cases including car and trucking accidents and medical malpractice. She is actively involved in the Hidalgo County Bar Association and the Hidalgo County Young Lawyers Association, previously serving on the Board of Directors. She is also involved in the local community as a Board Member for the McAllen Public Library Advisory Board.
