Anne Johnson

Anne E. Johnson is a partner at the law firm Butler, Sevier, Hinsley & Reid, PLLC, which has its offices in Memphis, Tennessee. She focuses her practice on family law matters, including divorce, child support, prenuptial agreements, adoption, child custody, post-divorce modification and enforcement, orders of protection and restraining orders, and fathers’ rights. Ms. Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Washburn University, graduating cum laude. She served as the vice president of the Washburn Student Association. She went on to study law at The University of Memphis – Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor in 2004. While in law school, Ms. Johnson was on the Moot Court Board, a member of the mock trial team and an intern at the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office in Memphis, Tennessee. She also published her articles in the Tennessee Journal of Practice and Procedure and served as a law clerk for two renowned judges at the 30th Judicial District in Memphis. An active member of the legal community, Ms. Johnson is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Memphis Bar Association, and is the former president of the Memphis Bar Association’s Family Law Section and the Young Lawyers’ Division. She serves as Vice President of the board for Kindred Place.
