Matts pragmatic approach to recovery produces timely and efficient results for his clients. When Matt had the opportunity to work at a law firm during his senior year in high school, something clicked. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in political science and spending a semester abroad in Helsinki, Finland, he solidified his decision to pursue a career in the legal field. He completed an internship with the United States Trustees Office, and later served as the associate editor for JURIST Legal News Service, the worlds only law school-based, comprehensive online legal news service. Today Matt represents financial institutions, small business creditors, and mortgage holders, and primarily works directly with in-house litigation specialists, loss prevention specialists, and collectors. Through hard work and a commitment to be responsive to his clients at all times, he monitors their big picture interests and works tirelessly to help them achieve their recovery goals. Matts sensible approach to conflict resolution once helped a client settle a potentially volatile situation. An individual had been complaining about a house in his neighborhood that was in disrepair. He had hoped to purchase the property to demolish it, but was unable to because of an existing lien on the property held by Matts client. Upset that the property would remain intact, the individual began threatening a defamation campaign against his client. After ing the individual and explaining the circumstances, Matt was able to resolve the situation amicably - avoiding any further headaches for his client. Outside of the office, Matt enjoys cooking, traveling, and attending concerts and sporting events.
