Jovanna L. Patrick

A partner at Hollander Lebenbaum & Patrick, Jovanna L. Patrick divides her practice among workers' compensation and personal injury. From the firm's office in Portland, Oregon, she provides representation to clients throughout the greater metropolitan area and the state. Ms. Patrick has been admitted to practice before all Oregon state courts since 2011. Being fluent in Spanish, Ms. Patrick prides herself on providing personal service to her clients who require or prefer Spanish communication. In her workers' compensation practice, Ms. Patrick assists people who have been injured on the job and who are seeking their rightful benefits under their employer's insurance coverage. She works with them throughout the process, helping to ensure that the claim is timely filed and contains all necessary documentation, and she provides assistance at subsequent appeals hearings before the state's Workers' Compensation Board in the event that the claim is denied. Ms. Patrick majored in history and communications at Lewis & Clark College in Portland and received a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in 2005. She then pursued her legal education at Lewis & Clark Law School and obtained her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2010. Ms. Patrick was the 2021 Chair of the Executive Committee of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Oregon State Bar and is active in other legal organizations including Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA), Oregon Women Lawyers, and the House of Delegates. She won OTLA's 2022 New Lawyer of the Year Award, in part due to her efforts in passing the Injured Worker Protection Bill of 2022.
