Randy P. Oetken

Randy Oetken is a native Oregonian. He is a graduate of West Linn High School (1976), Willamette University (1980) and McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. After receiving his California law degree and license in 1987, he joined the defense firm of Edson & LaPlante in Sacramento where he quickly cut his teeth as a defense trial attorney handling hundreds of cases ranging in values from a few thousand dollars to several million dollars. The firm represented numerous insurance companies (and their insured) including State Farm, Farmers, Allstate, Travelers, St. Paul, Geico, Countrywide, Lloyds of London, Nationwide, American Family, as well as numerous others throughout the United States. It is with this comprehensive experience and unique understanding of how insurance companies handle and defend injury claims against injured people that Randy moved back to Oregon and started Randy Oetken Law in 1992, focusing on representing individuals and families that have been injured or suffered loss as a result of someone elses negligence or wrongdoing.
