Mr. Evans practices in the areas of real estate, estate planning, probate, litigation and eminent domain/land use and corporate and business. His real estate practice consists of representation of both buyers and sellers in commercial and residential transactions including preparing contracts for both unimproved and improved properties, along with contracts for construction. Mr. Evans has represented local land developers and prepared declarations of covenants and restrictions for subdivisions, as well as representation in zoning and land use changes. His business law practice includes the creation of new corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships; as well as preparation of shareholder, stockholder and operating agreements, preparation of contracts for purchase and sale of corporate stock and membership shares and on-going maintenance of corporate records. The estate planning practice includes the preparation of powers of attorney, health care surrogates, and both simple and complex last wills and testaments. He also prepares trust agreements, including revocable, irrevocable, insurance, generation skipping and credit shelter trusts. His probate practice consists of administering summary, family, and formal administrations, as well as the administration of trust agreements. Mr. Evans represents both plaintiffs and defendants, individuals and corporations in litigation. He also has experience in successfully negotiating with both local and state governmental agencies with regard to eminent domain issues. Prior to law school, Mr. Evans served 3 years in the United States Air Force. Mr. Evans is the General Counsel for the Vero Beach Museum of Art, along with service to other civic and charitable organizations.
