Shutts & Bowen is extremely saddened at the passing of our partner Stephen T. Maher. Steve first joined the firm more than 20 years ago and played a vital role in the growth and development of the firm throughout his tenure. Steve made important contributions as both a member and head of the firms Appellate Practice Group. His genuine caring for others and his unwavering commitment to his clients represent a remarkable legacy and will serve as an inspiration to others for many years to come. From his work with Legal Services of Greater Miami to his time as a professor at the University of Miami School of Law and ultimately as a partner with Shutts & Bowen, Steve touched the lives of many attorneys and students as a mentor, teacher and colleague.
