Julia Coleen Ketcham-Corbett

Julia Ketcham Corbett has more than 25 years of experience helping a diverse group of clients, focusing on employment law, general civil litigation, family law and mediation. In all areas of her practice, her clients include individuals and small and mid-market companies in a variety of industries, throughout the State of Minnesota. Julia regularly provides human resource advice and counseling to her business clients regarding the complex and ever-changing legal relationship between an employer and its employees. She also conducts internal investigations, represents businesses responding to administrative (EEOC/MDHR) charges, drafts and reviews a wide variety of employment-related documents such as employment policies, handbooks, non-competition agreements and employment releases and provides training on a wide variety of employment-related topics. She works proactively with her clients to reduce exposure and avoid employment-related litigation, but is a zealous advocate for her clients when they find themselves confronted with employment litigation claims. In her litigation practice, Julia is hired directly by businesses and by their insurers in a wide-variety of employment litigation matters. In her family law practice, Julia focuses her practice on dissolutions for high net-worth individuals and other complex financial family-law situations. She also serves as a Rule 114 Qualified Civil and Family Law Mediator and Arbitrator and Family Law Consensual Special Magistrate and regularly mediates family, probate and employment law cases as well as other types of cases. She has also provided training on a number of family-law related topics, such as child support, child custody and family law mediation.
