About
I graduated from the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, IN in 1994 and passed the Indiana State Bar Exam that same year. (I was very glad I did, as I would never want to take that exam ever again!) After graduation, I decided that I wanted to come back to the County I grew up in... Hamilton...and practice law. On March 3, 1997, I opened my sole practice and have never looked back. Being red-headed and very independent, it was the best move I could have made. In addition to having my own law practice, as of January 2001, I took over as Director of our GAL/CASA Program in Hamilton County. Little did I know that over 18+ years later, I would still be sitting as Director and watching how our Programs over those years have flourished and assisted so many children in the Court system. In May 2017, I then also took over as Director of the Tipton County CASA Program. These Programs advocate for children caught up in the Court system. I have three children, two sons and a daughter... all through adoption so I know whats its like to go through the same. I also know what its like to have to wait and wait before finalizing an adoption and how stressful that time period can be. I have five rescue dogs, the latest of which is a senior. I love gardening at my home and I play the piano.
