John T. Synowicki

John Synowicki is an experienced health care litigator advising hospitals and health systems nationwide regarding peer review, credentialing and operational matters. John routinely advises on complex issues that require robust problem-solving and unique solutions to facilitate client needs. John represents clients through the fair hearing process, in state and federal litigation and in arbitration when disputes escalate. John has significant experience in:Physician peer review investigations and fair hearings Physician credentialing Medical staff governance documents, including bylaws and policies National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) and state level reporting Physician recruitment agreements Advising peer review committees on quality of care, conduct and wellness issues concerning physicians Assisting health care entities in complex commercial litigation disputes End-of-life matters Health care guardianships John has written and lectured on a variety of health law topics, including credentialing, peer review, compliance, provider mental health and well-being, risk management and the medical staff fair hearing process.
