Richard Parsons

Rich serves as Director of Government Relations with RYP Granite Strategies. He brings a diverse set of public and private experience ranging from health care to public utilities experience. After earning a bachelors degree in Political Science from Saint Anselm College, he began his political career as a Legislative Aide for the New Hampshire Senate, where he served the Commerce and the Energy and Natural Resources Committees. He provided valuable assistance in rewriting New Hampshires telecommunications laws and the states Renewable Portfolio Standard. Rich also gained valuable experience working for a successful lobbying firm in Columbia, South Carolina where he represented a wide range of clients at the Statehouse and helped clients secure procurement opportunities. Since joining the firm of Rath, Young and Pignatelli, Rich has represented a wide range of industries from corporations to energy and telecommunication companies in Concord.
