Steven R. Davis

Steve Davis graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1971 and immediately entered private business. Over a period of fifteen years, he co-developed a start-up wholesale distribution business, advancing from sales representation to President of the company before selling his interest in the company and entering law school. While attending Oklahoma City University School of Law, he clerked and interned at a large local litigation law firm until graduation. Mr. Davis practices primarily in complex medical malpractice litigation which involves catastrophic personal injury resulting in either wrongful death of the patient or lifelong physical/cognitive disability. Mr. Davis medical cases range from birth trauma (resulting in cerebral palsy), to surgical mistakes and mismanaged anesthesia. Mr. Davis practice involves cases against major hospitals, private health care systems, government hospitals (VA and Indian), nursing homes and their large corporate owners, as well as individually owned and operated nursing homes. Mr. Davis broader practice focuses in the areas of insurance bad faith against both nationally and regionally recognized insurance companies, as well as other related general litigation
