David O. Doyle

David O. Doyle, Jr. is an AV Rated civil trial lawyer, concentrating his practice in medical malpractice defense litigation, health care law and insurance defense litigation, which gained him recognition as one of Florida Trends Florida Legal Elite in 2016. He has represented hospitals, nurses, physicians, midwives, pharmacists, long-term care facilities and emergency medical technicians all over the state of Florida in medical malpractice cases. He has defended and been trial counsel in cases involving patients seeking multimillion-dollar recoveries. In addition, he has represented hospitals in general liability matters and provided counsel on medical staff issues such as clinical staff privileges, peer review and physician credentialing. David also handles a significant amount of first-party and third-party claims on behalf of insurance company clients throughout the state of Florida. He has defended claims involving coverage disputes, breach of contract, bad faith and premises liability. David is a member of the Florida Bars Health Law Section, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. He has served as a lecturer to physician groups, nursing staffs and hospital personnel on issues such as prevention of medical malpractice claims, medical record documentation, informed consent, HIPAA, Good Samaritan immunity and Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act.
