A. Cody Emerson

Attorney Cody Emerson is the founding Partner of Emerson Law, P. A. The primary focus of our practice is divorce and family law, however, we also handle contract drafting and negotiation, general civil litigation, and personal injury. Cody graduated from Florida State University with dual degrees in Real Estate and Finance. He then attended Florida State Universitys College of Law. While in school, Cody volunteered with the FSU Public Interest Law Center, representing indigent clients attempting to navigate their way through the rigors of the family law legal system. Attorney Emerson opened Emerson Law, P. A. in January 2014. Since that time, he has assisted close to a thousand clients in cases of divorce, alimony, paternity, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, adoptions, landlord and tenant issues, and many other legal matters. Attorney Emerson has extensive litigation experience dealing with various motion hearings, depositions, and mediations along the way. In many other cases, he was successful in negotiating a settlement prior to trial, reducing the cost for his clients while obtaining amicable results.
