The firms objective is to provide excellent representation and customer service at a fair and reasonable rate. Mike Clawson is the firms owner and managing member. Mr. Clawson is a 1980 graduate of Albion College and a 1983 graduate of the University of Toledo Law School. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Clawson clerked for the Honorable Michael Dodge in the Cass County Circuit Court. He was subsequently employed at the law firm of Hardy, Lewis and Page from 1985 until 2011. During his time at HLP, Mr. Clawson served as an associate and then partner. He left HLP in 2011 and opened his own practice. Mr. Clawson has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell for over 20 years in a row. He is a member of the Oakland County, Michigan and American Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in both Michigan and Ohio and has been named to the Super Lawyers Organization for the past 10 years. Mr. Clawson serves as a mediator in Oakland County and is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association. In 2013, he received recognition as one of the Top Lawyers in Michigan. He has also been active in various charitable organization in Oakland County.
