Blaine received his history degree from UGA in 1994, and then his law degree from UGA School of Law in 1997, both magna cum laude. He started his legal practice at a large Atlanta law firm then returned to Athens to serve as the domestic violence prosecutor. From there he entered private practice as a trial lawyer, forming Wiggins & Norris Injury Law, LLC, then, Wiggins Norris Coffey PA. In 2018, he moved his offices to 1143 Prince Avenue, in the heart of the Athens medical community, so he could better accommodate the needs of his personal injury clients. He has served numerous years as a trial practice instructor at the UGA School of Law, is a member of Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the Western Judicial Circuit Bar Association (Board of Governors 2007-2008; President 2011-2012), and has been listed as Top Attorneys by Georgia Trend Magazine (2012), and by the National Trial Lawyers as Top 100 Trial Lawyers (2014), and has as 10.0 in Personal Injury by AVVO.
