Kyle J. Nelson

ATTORNEY AT LAWKyle grew up in Longview, Texas, graduating from Longview High School. After graduating from Texas Christian University with a degree in Business Administration, Kyle attended law school at St. Marys School of Law in San Antonio. During school, he clerked at the Gregg County District Attorneys office. After graduation in 2006, Kyle returned to Longview to work with Scott Stevens at the Stevens Law Firm, which later became Stevens Love, and then Stevens Henry. When Kyles first child was born in 2013, he moved his practice to Tyler, forming the Nelson Law Firm. Kyles practice includes business litigation, wills and probate and estate litigation. Kyles grandfather, Frank Taggart, was one of the premier wills and estates lawyers in East Texas, and Kyle learned much from him. Kyle is a member of the Smith County Bar Association, Smith County Young Lawyers, Texas Bar Foundation, the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, and the Honorable T. John Ward Inn of Court. Kyle has been selected as a Texas Rising Star from 2014-2019 by Super Lawyers magazine. Kyle is licensed to practice in Texas and is admitted to the federal courts for the Eastern District of Texas. He is also admitted in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Federal Circuit. Kyle is married to Mandy Nelson, and they are the proud parents of three children. Kyle
