Matthew Smith

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Smith worked a number of small and midsized law firms, where his responsibilities included patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution, litigation support, prior art searching, opinion letters, and drafting pleadings. Mr. Smith received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the George Mason University School of Law, where he completed the Patent Law Track. During law school, Mr. Smith was a Regional Quarter Finalist in the Giles S. Rich Moot Court Competition and a research assistant for the Honorable Judge Moore of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Smith received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania.
