He has successfully represented individuals and businesses in lawsuits involving construction defects, products liability, premises liability, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, and commercial vehicle accidents. Prior to joining Payne & Blanchard in 2008, Kenneth served as a judge advocate in the United States Marine Corps. While on active duty, Kenneth had a diverse practice that included consumer protection law, family law, and military justice. Personal In 2010, Kenneth was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. For three terms (2011-2017) he represented the communities of East Dallas, South Garland, and Mesquite. During his time in the Texas House, Kenneth served on a number of committees including the Committee on Insurance, the Committee on the Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence, and the Committee on Small Business & Economic Development. For his service to the State of Texas, Kenneth has been recognized by several organizations, including the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Access to Justice Foundation, the Texas Municipal Police Association, Texas Association of Business, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, the Texas Humane Legislative Network, the Texas Civil Justice League, and Texans for Lawsuit Reform. Over the years, Kenneth has been actively involved in various community, church, and professional organizations. Kenneth and his family are parishioners at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish in East Dallas.
