About

About Charles Ocampo Charles Ocampo is an associate of M&P Law offices with a powerful story of resilience, personal growth, and professional excellence. A graduate of Texas Christian University (TCU) he earned his degree in Political science with honors, magna cum laude. While at TCU, he was on the Moot Court team qualifying for nationals, and an integral part of the Rugby team that made it to the State collegiate championship. He then went to law school at St. Marys University graduating in 2013. While at St. Marys, Charles was on the mock trial team that competed nationally, and he was awarded Mock Trial Advocate of the year. Charles is currently a member of the Order of the Barristers, a national honor society for law school graduates and practicing lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skills in oral advocacy, brief writing, and trial advocacy. Background Throughout his career, Charles has demonstrated a passion for advocating on behalf of his clients, building a reputation as a tenacious and compassionate litigator. However, in 2018 he made the difficult decision to voluntarily resign his license to practice law to focus on his personal journey of recovery. During this time, he found a new purpose and perspective working as a paralegal here at the M&P Law offices. In 2024, after years of hard work and dedication in both his personal and professional life, to include recovering from addiction and navigating his own divorce, Charles was successfully reinstated to the practice of law. These are the real-life experience Charles brings to every client, case, and the courtroom.
