About
Paul A. Ellis, Jr. is a Pennsylvania-licensed Attorney and Founding Executive Director of August Wilson House, a national historic landmark. He is the current Treasurer of the Pittsburgh Black Lawyers Alliance, and former Adjunct Professor for the University of Pittsburgh. Ellis legal practice is comprehensive, and has been sustained for over 21 years, and includes Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Probate, Real Estate, Criminal Defense, Landlord/Tenant law, Probate, and Entertainment. Attorney Ellis is a graduate of New England School of Law, certified as a Federal Mediator, and regularly serves as an Arbitration Chairman. Ellis was admitted to the Bar of United States Supreme Court, the U. S. District Court for the Western District of PA, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Attorney Ellis is committed to community service. From 2005-2007, he was President of the Homer S. Brown Law Association. He served on the ACBA Judiciary Committee, Board of Governors, and the Board of Neighborhood Legal Services Association. Ellis is also an active member of BESLA.
