James J. Taylor

James Taylor was raised in OKC, and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1975 with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism. He went on to graduate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1978. Immediately upon graduating law school, James opened his solo practice in 1978, focusing primarily on personal injury cases. Over the 45 years of its existence, his law firm, now Taylor, Lucas, Locke & Corbin, has grown substantially to encompass multiple attorneys in a beautiful law building in downtown OKC. In addition to managing his law firm for 45 years, James has been heavily involved in developing healthcare facilities. He cofounded Community Hospital in 1999 and served as its sole Chairman of the Board for over 20 years. It was eventually sold to the Baptist/Integris healthcare system. James experience in the field of healthcare has given him a unique knowledge of injuries that occur in accident cases.
