Brian James Kluk

Personal Bio Education/Experience Community Involvement Brian has been with McCollum Crowley since 2015 as a civil litigator. He became a shareholder in 2019. He was selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2021, 2022 and 2023. He has successfully represented clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit to trial, and appeals all the way to the Minnesota Supreme Court. Brian specializes in motion and appellate work, and focuses his practice on employment law, insurance coverage, subrogation, and mechanics liens. Beyond the courtroom, Brian has a passion for teaching. Formerly a coach for moot court competitors, Brian now gives CLE presentations on insurance subrogation and opinion testimony. He is the author, along with McCollum Crowleys Dan Singel, of Chapter 15 of the Minnesota State District Court Civil Practice Deskbook on Rule 68 Offers. He is also the author of Chapter 9 of the 2021 edition of the Minnesota Courtroom Evidence Deskbook on Opinion and Expert Testimony. Brian contributes to amicus curiae briefs to Minnesotas appellate courts on behalf of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association.
