Miriam Merlo

Attorney Profile Overview Miriam R. Merlo is an experienced litigation attorney with over 30 years of experience in multiple areas of law, including personal injury, premises liability, insurance fraud, construction litigation, professional liability, advertising liability, and condominium and homeowner associate disputes. She has successfully tried a number of jury trials and dozens of bench trials to verdict. Ms. Merlo has successfully defended in excess of 30 fraudulent claims which resulted in the dismissal of asserted claims, and arrest of the participating parties. She worked closely with the Department of Insurance Fraud Division in the investigation of these claims and her involvement with them assisted her in the identification of potential fraudulent lawsuits.
